PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WEBINAR IS ONLY OFFERED TO SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY INCOMING INTERNS and SLP NEWLY GRADUATES.

Objectives:

1). To identify ways on how to convert in-person therapy activities into interactive digital materials

2). To identify different ways in using PowerPoint to make interactive teletherapy activities

3). To learn about the basics of Boom Learning platform and how you can make your own interactive digital task cards

4). To be able to determine the basics of green screen therapy

            a.      Computer set-up

            b.      Physical set-up

            c.      Additional requirements

5). To be able to use virtual backgrounds

             a.      Image

             b.      Video

6). To be able to identify activities that can be used for green screen therapy

7). To be able to relate goals with sample activities on green screen

About the speakers:

Ma. Carmela Castillo-Go, CSP, PASP

Carmela is a graduate of BS Speech Pathology program of UP Manila- College of Allied Medical Professions in 2007. She has been practicing as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for 13 years. She is the clinic owner of Early Start Therapy Center and a School Administrator of Sunhill Developmental Education, both located in Tanauan, Batangas. 


Faith Luan M. Taytay, CSP-PASP, MM-SM

Faith is a B.S. Speech Pathology graduate of the University of the Philippines Manila. For the past 10 years, she has been working as a full-time pediatric therapist in Discovery Montessori School at Calamba and Streams Therapy Center at Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Faith earned her master’s degree in School Management in 2014 from Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba. She helps in managing their family owned business, Discovery Montessori School Inc.

Faith engaged in various artistic pursuits by attending workshops on: Theater, Indie-film making, Photography, Script Writing and Graphic Design. Her background on these creative endeavors paved way to the creation of SPOTED Resources—a local brand that produces skill-specific therapy materials. Due to the global pandemic and adaptation to teletherapy, “Faithtastic Learning” was born. It is a YouTube channel that releases weekly episodes of free educational videos for children aimed to enhance their language learning experience while in the comforts of their home.

Lourdes Bernadette G. Lopez, CSP

Teacher Bernice has been practicing as a pediatric speech-language pathologist for 9 years. She is a graduate of the University of the Philippines- Manila and is the owner and clinic administrator of Jumpstart Therapy Center in Lipa, Batangas. Using her love for crafts, she creates her own teaching aids for her students and shares it to parents and pediatric therapists, as well as other early childhood educators via her Instagram page @thecrafterteacher.
