We are inviting everyone to a parent seminar entitled, "BEYOND DIAGNOSIS". This seminar is brought to you by the Philippine Association of Speech Pathologists (PASP) and the College of Rehabilitation Sciences of the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute.  

This seminar aims to: 

• discuss about intervention and management after a diagnosis for communication delays and disorders have been given,
  
• provide discussions for the parents, educators and students from a developmental pediatrician and speech-language pathologists regarding their children’s journey after diagnosis,
  
• empower parents to take part in intervention and management after a diagnosis was given, 
  
• give an overview of what to expect and the areas to focus on when intervention/therapy starts, 
  
• discuss about a child’s communication skills from birth to adolescence and relate it to when child starts to receive intervention , and 
  
• discuss about carry-over of therapy goals at home, monitoring of progress and the importance of family involvement in the intervention process.
